Out of School Club Vacancies

 

Out of School Club Supervisor – City Centre Aberdeen

At Great Western Out of School Club, Our Vision is to prepare an environment that is stimulating for each child, regardless of age or individual need. To have knowledgeable staff who are trained to provide that environment with a caring attitude whilst maintaining a sense of humour. We feel that children should be cared for in a light hearted way whilst providing structure and order throughout their day. 

We currently have vacancies for play workers within our city centre clubs. These vacancies are term time. Opening hours for Breakfast Club is 7.30am – 9.00 am and Out of School Club 3.15 pm – 6.00 pm Monday to Friday 

We are seeking motivated, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children to join our team and assist with the provision of excellent Out of School Care Service in line with Care Inspectorate and National Guidelines.

Candidates must hold or be willing to work towards the achievement of, a practice qualification as recognised by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) suitable for registration.

Vacancies are regulated work with children and as such are under the protection of vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update Check. A confirmed offer of employment will be subject to this and pre-employment checks.

Room Supervisor - Portlethen

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and experienced room supervisor for our toddler room. You will be supporting staff and management in leading the team and ensuring the smooth running of the room on a daily basis.

The candidate requires to have a level 3 qualification or equivalent and have excellent knowledge of the curriculum and relevant documents, Building the Ambition and implementation of Shannari using GIRFEC and any new legislative practices coming into force.

Able to complete and have experience in completing learning journals/portfolios. You will ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain positive working relationships with staff, parents and carers.

Child Care Support Worker – Modern Apprentice - Portlethen & Broomhill Road

We are looking for highly motivated and enthusiastic individuals who wish to pursue a career in childcare and early education. We currently have vacancies for support workers for our Great Western Pre –School Nursery based in our Portlethen and Broomhill Road locations on a fixed term contract.

The successful candidate should be willing to undertake the Social Services children and young people level three qualification.

You will be working as part of an enthusiastic team ensuring the smooth running of the room on a daily basis.
